Web Streaming

Back To School, Updates

OK, time for a few updates. I would like to let you all know that I am almost done redesigning my site, and I have completely switched from doing it in Dreamweaver CS3 to SquareSpace. I went and checked out www.thecreativeone.tv after I heard that he had done his site in SquareSpace, and I absolutely love how is looks and works. That is when I chose to give their 15 day free trial a go. I really enjoyed it, and now am planning on purchasing one of their plans. You should see the new site up in place of this one within the next few weeks. I am also posting now to tell you that I will be streaming later this week, and I will announce the time on YouTube.

Video Requests?

Alright, I have finally got a good idea to include my viewers in my videos. I am going to continue to publish videos that I think of, but I would like my viewers to contact me with questions they have about ANY OS X applicaiton. I don’t even have to have it installed on my computer and I will help you with this problem. If I do have the applicaiton I will more than likely turn it into a video for YouTube. This is also going to be incorperated into my Ustream channel. I will begin a live tech support stream, but only every Friday night. Every other day is just going to be regular streaming. Alright, that was just a quick update for you guys, any questions can be either messaged to me on YouTube or sent to me via the Contact Me page on this site. Thanks for the support, and I should have a new video up on YouTube tonight!

Last Week and Next

Alright guys, I know I need to start posting more on the blog, so I’ll work on that. First topic of this blog entry is this past week. For those of you that didn’t know, I was at the beach the entire week with an ISP that did not allow me to upload many YouTube videos or stream. I tried streaming a few times, but it was so laggy no one would have watched it. So, on to my plans for this week. I am going to be at home on Sunday (tomorrow), Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but on Thursday, I am leaving for Daytona Beach, Florida, and I will be there until next Sunday. I don’t think that I am going to be able to stream at all during that time, so I will try to do posts on the blog every day! Once I get back from Daytona, I will be at home until school starts back, so expect me to be streaming a lot over the next few months! Now, on to some upcoming videos. Expect and unboxing video sometime soon, even though it might not be the most exciting unboxing. I am also going to do a 2 month later review on my MacBook Pro soon. Those will probably be my next two videos, other than any video I make in Daytona, or any tutorials that are requested by viewers. That’s about it for now, so, I guess I’ll talk to you guys later!

New Website Coming

Alright guys, I’m completely re-designing my site. This time it is going to be built enirely in Photoshop and a text editor. If I work on it as much as I plan to on my vacation, then I’ll probably have it up sometime in mid-July. I you are interested in watching me work on it, you can come on over to this website, and click on the “Live” page, and watch the live stream! Thanks for subscribing and look out for a new site sometime next month!

New Web Design

Alright, so, as I’m sure you have noticed, I added a new theme to the webiste tonight, and I really like it. The reason I did this is to celebrate the launch of the new version of the program that I use for my website, RapidWeaver 4.0. I have used RapidWeaver way back since they came out with RW3, and I love this new version. Epxect a video on it on YouTube very soon!! You will also notice that I made a few changes to the About page. I change the fact that I am saving for a MBP, since I alread have it. Lastly, I wanted to let everyone know that I am going to begin streaming more and more, and I actually already have. I am streaming right now as I write this post. I am going to start streaming at least six hours a day, so go check out the live tab on my website!

Ustreaming over Spring Break

I start Spring Break on Monday for the next three weeks, and I will be broadcasting live on Ustream hopefully 24 hours a day, or as long as I have my laptop in my room. On Monday, I will be going down to Concord, NC, so I will not be able to broadcast on that day until maybe about 8pm eastern time. So go across to the "Live" tab or Ustream.tv to see me live 24 hours a day over spring break.

Ustream

Well, I've finally decided to fall into the trend of Ustream. First let me go ahead and give you a link to my Ustream page. You can also click on the live link at the top of the page, and you will see the video feed and the chat embedded. I am going to start trying to broadcast at least 2-3 hours a day. During these broadcasts, I will more than likely be doing stuff on my computer, discussing news topic daily about Apple, and/or doing my homework for school. I don't think that I am going to go as far as Chris Pirillo and broadcast 24/7, unless I get a huge gathering on Ustream. Don't see that happening any time soon. Currently, I am only broadcasting using my FireWire iSight camera, but don't automatically go, "Oh, why watch that? It is terrible quality". I have got it set up so that it actually looks pretty good, except for the fact that Ustream has terrible quality to begin with. So go on over to the Ustream channel or check on the "Live" page on this site. Tomorrow I am going to check out the effects that CamTwist can apply to the feed.
